YA HALLA MEDITERRANEAN GRILL - Authentic Jordanian & Middle Eastern Cuisine in San Diego

Wow- the hummus and baba ghanoush were great- tasted very authentic, coming from someone who is Palestinian. The service was impeccable. The owner even checked in and asked if he could get me anything else. It wasn’t even on the menu but he made me a vegetarian combo plate which was amazing and just the right amount of food with the falafels. I would def come back!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Just WOW. If you want authentic Jordanian cuisine, you don’t need to look anywhere else. The customer service is out of this world- the most friendly owners who only want to share their love and culture with San Diego The vibes are always right and everyone is happy and smiling. Amazing ambiance! Speaking as someone with a middle eastern background, it was like eating mama’s cooking. So happy I don’t have to drive all the way to El Cajon for an authentic meal. Tell everyone you know about Ya Halla Grill and support a family-owned business!

Wasn’t planning on going, but decided to give it a shot — glad I did! You can tell they really care about their ingredients and the final product. I tried the Swiss mushroom burger, which had a unique Mediterranean flair — great quality meat and cheese, cooked perfectly. Highly recommend giving it a try. I’ll definitely be back to sample the more traditional Mediterranean shawarma. Prices are more than fair, too.

Ahmed was fantastic the customer service was impeccable, super personable with food that overshadowed the service itself. One of my favorite halla spots in all of San Diego. If you have a chance to try please do you won’t be disappointed. Family owed, the way it should be. Overall, great experience!

This place was absolutely devine. I've never tried shawarma before so this was my first taste of ever having it. The moment I entered the smell was AMAZING, the worker there was so kind and wonderful, he was full of smiles. Me and the people I went there with could tell he is proud on what he does. The food was absolutely delicious, it was a burst of flavors in my mouth, definitely would recommend it. First time experience was 10/10

Super friendly and fast. Family owned and you can tell. Food was terrific. My husband practically licked his plate clean. We had the gyro meal and the smash burger plus they were so kind and gave us some delicious desserts.

My husband took me to this place, and i just fell in love with their ya halla swiss burger. Its so juicy and so flavorful. Out of the burgers I’ve had here in pb this one is definitely on the top of my list.

The food was amazing. I had the ya halla swiss mushroom burger, and its more than what I expected. I used just get their regular smash beef burger and that one is good too, but the ya halla burger is waaaay better. I asked the owner why and its bc I’ve been getting the american style, i guess i forgot to get the YA HALLA version. Try their burgers it is one of the bests ive had here in pb. I’m not really a shawarma fan so I havent tried their shawarma, I’m just glad they had burgers in here too.
